MISSION:
PB Explorers allows children to experience positive group interaction in a safe
and fun environment. We place an emphasis on cooperation, teamwork, participation
and fun. Through arts and crafts, sports, daily recreational activities, and special
events, we give children an opportunity to develop teamwork skills, experience fun
adventures, and create new and lasting friendships!

Exceptions:
July 4: PB Explorers will not take place on July 4 due to the Parade and Carnival
WHO:
PB Explorers is designed for Palmetto Bluff Club Members and Resort Guests ages 5-12.
Campers must be potty trained.
WHAT:
Camp is designed for kids that "just want to be a kid." Fun and the outdoors is the mainstay
of Camp. Led by our group of professional recreation staff members and interns, Camp is
active in crafts, games, educational activities, experiential learning activities, sports,
and much more during the day.
FEE:
$50 per child per day, $45 for members
RESERVATIONS:
Reservations are made through the concierge 843.706.6515
and are to be made by 5pm the day prior.
WHERE:
Drop-off and pick-up for Camp will be at the Canoe Club Paddle
House located below the Canoe Club Restaurant. The majority of our time will be spent
outdoors, as weather permits. Otherwise we will use various indoor spaces.
TRANSPORTATION:
Campers will be transported by various means including on benches
in the back of a pick-up truck, van, boat, golf cart, bicycle, and foot. Children will
be supervised by Palmetto Bluff Club staff at all times.
LUNCH AND SNACKS:
During drop-off Campers will have options to choose from
for lunch. Snacks and drinks will be provided in the morning.
WHAT TO BRING? WHAT NOT BRING?
Remember, we will be outside a lot during the day - dress appropriately
and please apply sunscreen to your child. Campers should wear comfortable
play clothes to camp each day and Campers must wear tennis shoes/sneakers.
We will provide reapplications of sunscreen and bug spray as needed.
We ask that Campers do NOT bring money or items of value. We cannot be
responsible for lost personal items.
PICK-UP:
Children are NOT permitted to leave with anyone unless their name is on
the approved list provided on the registration form.
DAILY CAMP THEMES:
A Day at the Park
Enjoy the morning at Calder Park engaging in a
game of wiffle ball, kickball, or simply flying a kite through the
blue southern sky. The afternoon will include shooting hoops and
learning bocce ball at Wilson Lawn and Racquet.

Golf & Tennis
Our skilled tennis and golf staff will challenge you with a variety of activities

Explore the wonders and creatures of the salt and fresh
water of Palmetto Bluff, while learning to crab and fish.

Partake in an adventure through the natural foliage and tree life
along the River Road trail in search of wildlife. Along the way collect your favorite
treasures to create a personal scrapbook of natural wonders.

Enjoy the wonders of science by discovery through science
experiments with simple ingredients. Explosions maybe, chemical
reactions possibly, you will have to find out!
